VCC brings a life and depth and cohesion to mixes that is really difficult to convey in words. And I was all "wha.?" So I turned the all the instances back on and it was like BAM! Holy crap! After a while, I just sort of shrugged and said, "well, that was a waste of money" and bypassed all instances.and my mix went completely flat and nasty sounding.
